A Multifaceted Sanctuary
Fantasy Farm is a sanctuary that prioritizes the relationship with nature and the connection to self.
Gay by nature, ecological and permaculture principles are its pillars.
It is a place of living, a place to retreat, a place of creativity and exploration, a place to care and share.
Fantasy Farm is open to all sensitive beings, LGBTQIA+ individuals :
sensitive souls, dreamers, and life builders connected to the magic of nature are welcome.
✨ The vision, the project
Fantasy Farm weaves connections between body, mind, nature and spontaneity.
A non-profit association under French law runs the place.
Born of a personal journey, the project has been taking shape since 2015, nourished by many encounters. At the end of 2020 it took root: Mark bought an abandoned farmhouse and the meadow beside it, close to 6,000 m². The buildings have since been renovated — see the place. The association that carries the project lives entirely on memberships and donations.
The vision — A sanctuary of inclusivity and care, where nature is both the heart of the work and the therapeutic tool. The aim beeing to provide a space where everyone can explore, discover and live their true nature, close to nature, free from heteronormative patterns.
The project — Create, manage and maintain the sanctuary. Rethinking the place through the perspective of permaculture: a food forest, a resilient and lasting ecosystem. The meadow is already beginning its transformation — over 400 trees and shrubs planted, including a wide variety of fruit trees, and flowers sown for pollinators. The vegetable garden provides some vegetables. Swallows nest in the buildings, along with many other local and visiting species.
Protecting the land — Safeguarding life here and around us for the long term. The site is a registered LPO Refuge (the French bird protection league) and an ORE — a French conservation easement — is under way. The association buys and manages neighbouring parcels of woodland and meadow — old chestnut trees, hedgerows — to take them out of exploitation; a dedicated fund supports this work., find out more and make a donation to support this here

Fantasy Farm is above all a place of living and of experience, where long stays, settling in and investing in the project come first.
It also offers short retreats, training courses and tailored stays.

To the rhythm of the earth and the body: making, planting, cooking, being
A place lived in day to day, open to visitors: yoga, massage, dance, gardening, creativity and all kinds of fantasy. Retreats and stays through the seasons, to live something singular and enchanted, and to look for a better coherence between yourself and the natural world.
Here, the pleasure of doing, making and growing is at the centre of every day. Working the soil, planting, building or preparing a meal is a source of joy, and each gesture a chance to reconnect with yourself, with others and with nature. This isn't labour but something enlivening, restorative — where you take the time to feel the earth under your fingers, to observe, to sense, simply to be.
Vegetables, fruit and flowers are tended and flourish, and so do presence, intuition, and the satisfaction of bringing beautiful, meaningful projects to completion. The rhythm follows the seasons, the earth, the air, and each person's instincts and needs. Every step deepens awareness and care a little further.
The way of life here is collaborative: everyone takes part in the life and comfort of the place, daily tasks are shared, and the cooking runs from seed to plate. It's in the balance between action and rest, making and contemplation, that we rediscover the happiness of doing, of sharing, of flourishing — simply and honestly.
A frame, and a freedom
A space of safety, sobriety and respect for everyone. Fantasy Farm is open to all, whatever your gender or sexuality.
Tobacco and alcohol aren't welcome at Fantasy Farm, which sets out to be a place where you choose to live fully, in harmony with nature and with yourself, free of those two addictive substances.
The food here is vegetarian, and no animal is domesticated — neither farmed nor kept as a companion. What we favour instead is a relationship with wild animals and respect for the environment they live in.
Naturism isn't a rule but a possibility: the possibility of being yourself, free of judgement, in harmony with nature and with others. Being naked, yes — but always with respect for the people around you.
💝 Support this multi-facetted project
Fantasy Farm is an association-run place that welcomes people from minority communities into a natural setting, where the link between nature and wellbeing makes real, deep restoration possible. Its existence rests entirely on the support of those who believe in it.
The association works with Crédit Mutuel, which provides a secure payment platform: donations can be made by card or by bank transfer to the association's account.

Coming for a stay or a retreat?
The rates are association contributions, covering the essential costs. If your means allow, any additional donation is precious: it helps make the place more beautiful, keeps solidarity rates possible, and secures the future of the project.
Want to support the protection of the living world?
A dedicated fund pays for the conservation side of the work: protecting biodiversity, replanting woodland, buying up natural parcels of land. You can donate directly through the Crédit Mutuel site or through the crowdfunding campaign on HelloAsso.
