Yoga training

A Residential Training Covering All Dimensions of Yoga
5 full days, 40 hours of practice

1. Yoga Philosophy — an experiential approach
The foundational texts — Patanjali and the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads — are not studied as academic objects but lived through experience. Each philosophical concept is connected to the practitioner's own lived reality: what happens on the mat, in the body, in daily life. A living, embodied approach, free from dogma, that gives meaning to practice from the inside out.

2. Postures and Sequences
Learning and deepening of asanas, building coherent and progressive sequences. Work on fluidity, rhythm and the intention behind movement.

3. Anatomy and Correction
Understanding the body in motion: alignment, areas of tension, adaptation to different morphologies. Learning adjustments and corrections with respect for each practitioner.

4. Meditation
Meditation techniques drawn from Indian traditions. Work on concentration, inner stillness and presence. Integration into daily practice.

5. Lifestyle and Nutrition
Yoga as a way of life: daily rhythms, personal hygiene and nutrition according to Ayurvedic principles. Vegetarian meals prepared collectively are an integral part of the training.

The Trainer
Mark is a twice-certified yoga teacher with a background deeply rooted in Indian traditions. His spiritual path has been built progressively: Ayurveda first, then the philosophy of yoga through Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, before tracing back to the sources with the Upanishads, and then exploring certain tantras. Enriched by these teachings, he offers a resolutely pragmatic approach, free from dogma, in which the relationship with nature is fundamental and forms the foundation of his way of life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the yoga and massage workshop and the residential yoga training?
The workshop is an invitation to share touch with other men, to create connection. It focuses on creative and intuitive touch, and offers yoga practices to help better understand one's anatomy and stretching capacities. The residential yoga training is open to everyone and is not naturist — it is also exclusively centred on yoga. It is an intensive approach that embraces yoga as a way of life for the duration of the residency.

Is prior yoga experience required to follow the training?
Yoga experience is an asset but is not mandatory. What matters most is the seriousness of the approach, the quality of presence and the willingness to learn. The training starts from the foundations and transmits all the essential knowledge needed to understand yoga in its entirety.

Can I participate if I am not very flexible?
Yoga does not require physical flexibility — it teaches it. Anyone who practises yoga intensively will find their body changing, evolving, becoming more flexible and stronger. Yoga adapts to each individual and to each moment in life.

Is the training reserved for yoga professionals?
No. It is aimed equally at those on a path towards teaching professionally and those who take their practice seriously. This residential yoga training is an opportunity to practise, learn and exchange on all aspects of yoga, and to live yoga as a daily experience.

What does the €900 fee include?
The fee is all-inclusive: training, accommodation and meals from Tuesday evening to Sunday evening or Monday morning. No additional costs are to be expected on site.

Where does the training take place?
At Fantasy Farm, lieu-dit L'Armigère, Chatain, Vienne (86), Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The estate is a rural eco-sanctuary offering an intimate setting conducive to focus and full immersion.

How do I apply?
Simply complete the registration form. A video call will allow us to get acquainted, answer any questions and confirm your registration.

What certificate is issued at the end of the training?
A certificate of completion is presented to each participant at the end of the training.

Fantasy Farm is in the process of obtaining accreditation as a training centre with the relevant ministries — certification will be available shortly.
